The following comments describe outstanding ministry at Celebration in Spring '08 with special guest, Ed Traut, founder of Prophetic Life Ministries, originally from South Africa, where he successfully ministered for years.  Ed and his family have recently become citizens of the United States and reside in San Antonio, TX.  Ed continues his international travels and is a solid part of a local church in San Antonio.    

KC says: "Humor, wise counsel and words to the weary describe how Ed Traut, Prophetic Minister and Teacher, refreshed the members and visitors at Celebration.  Ed taught practical wisdom for daily life and growth, while he ministered to many individuals by giving them prophetic words.  Every word spoken was to edify, encourage and rebuild the self-esteem of the hearer.  Simple love describes his ministry best.  His light-heartedness reminded us of God's ultimate control of all things and God's great love for all.  The Lord sees all we have been through and has wonderful plans for each of us.  Members of Celebration were especially excited to hear the prophetic promise of a new building, and greater scope of ministry.  Our "Extreme" Pastor, as Ed called him, was commended for his shepherd's heart and willingness to lay down his life for his sheep.  We encourage anyone looking for a church to call 'home' to join us in safe pasture and be part of the great plans our Father in Heaven has for this community through our church.  I think the most profound truth revealed in these prophetic meetings was:  it isn't a lack of faith we struggle with...it's the shadow of a doubt in our hearts."  

SS states:  My husband and I found Ed to be very funny.  We went to the services expecting to hear from the Lord, open to what He wanted to do in us.  The words Ed gave us were deep-hearted and in season.  Through him the Lord addressed things no one else would have known."
