Today life is hectic and challenging. It can be easy to feel overwhelmed and only operate on "survival mode. " The Bible teaches about a different way of life, much more than just existence.  We're created to connect with others and are uniquely designed for relationship. No matter where you are in life or in your spiritual journey, connecting with others in "community" is an absolute must. Individuals and families need the love, support, and encouragement of a community of people who are committed to journeying alongside us.  Ultimately, we need each other because "life change happens best  in community."  CELEBRATION is a COMMUNITY Church.   We have some great connect  points, beginning with Sunday Morning Fellowship on through our various ministries for all ages, to our network of Connect Groups.  Once you get "plugged in" and experience a fresh power surge for your life,  you'll soon know you made the right connection!   So come join the celebration we're having and be part of our loving community of caring people -- we will warmly welcome you!

BECOMING A MEMBER

We all want to feel that we are a part of something bigger than ourselves.

Ephesians 2:19 (LB) says: Now you are no longer strangers to God and foreigners to heaven, but you are members of God's very own family, citizen's of God's country, and you belong in God's household with every other Christian. The Message version says: You belong here... God is building a home. He's using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what He is building.

Ephesians 1:20b (MSG) says: The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ's body, in which He speaks and acts, by which He fills everything with His presence. We believe that the local church is the hope of the world. Becoming a member of CELEBRATION is not only about belonging to a church but discovering how you can make a difference in your world.

Please contact for our next Membership Class you will be equipped with everything you need to know to become a fully engaged, participating member of CELEBRATION.

Water Baptism

What is baptism?

Water baptism is a public declaration of a personal choosing. An outward expression of an inward decision It is how we demonstrate that we have decided to follow Jesus Christ for the rest of our lives. When we are immersed in the water and come out of the water, it symbolizes our new beginning in Christ.

Romans 6:3-5 NIV: Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. If we have been united with Him like this in His death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection.

Why do we get baptized?

Jesus desires that every believer be baptized. John the Baptist initially did not want to baptize Jesus because he felt unworthy to do so. Jesus caused John the Baptist to change his mind when He said, "This is how it should be, because we must do all that God wants us to do." Matthew 3:15 CEV.

The Great Commission that Jesus entrusted to His followers is found in Matthew 28:19 NIV: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Who should get baptized?

All believers should be baptized. If you have accepted Jesus Christ into your heart and have asked Him to lead you in your life, you should be baptized. Jesus connects your baptism with following Him. Does getting baptized mean that God expects me to be perfect? And if I make a mistake, does that mean I need to get baptized again?

Our God is a God of love and mercy. God desires the best for us. Our sins are forgiven because Jesus died for our sins—not only the sins of our past but the mistakes that we have yet to make. While He knows that we will make mistakes, He desires that we do our best to obey Him.

A whole new dynamic opens up in our lives when we follow in the Lord's leading to be "baptised."

Over the years we have seen many power things happen in people's live during and after the baptism. Healing, restoration, deliverance and an entering in to a new dimension of relationship with the Lord and infilling of the Holy Spirit.

We also believe in the ceremony of baptism as an act of recommitment and encourage husbands and wives and families to be baptized together.
